Monarch to start flights from Britain

British carrier Monarch Airlines is to begin operating flights to Malta from East Midlands Airport next spring.

Monarch Airlines are to start flights to Malta on May 7, 2013

Flights will operate twice a week starting on May 7, with tickets out on sale from today.

Kevin George, managing director of Monarch Airlines, said: "Malta is a completely new scheduled destination for Monarch and we are sure that it will be a popular choice for our customers in the Midlands."
