Replacement of education legal notice shows government’s ‘incompetence’ – PN
Admission by education minister that legal notice allowing him to access student data would be replaced with a new one proved opposition right, PN says

PN says education minister Evarist Bartolo’s announcement that the legal notice allowing the minister to access student data would be replaced with a new one proved its criticism right.
The opposition said government had deemed its private motion to have the legal notice repealed as “negative” and pointed out that the Prime Minister Joseph Muscat and the rest of the Labour MPs had voted against the motion.
“Now, four months on, the truth had finally emerged. Not only had the PN not been negative, but it was right. After months of mudslinging, Muscat and Bartolo have retreated and admitted that they were wrong while we were right,” the party said.
This, the PN added, exp[osed government’s incompetence, which first insulted the PN and then realised that the opposition was right.
