Economy shadow minister Claudio Grech questioned the government’s delay in tabling three separate collective agreements, with doctors, nurses and allied healthcare professionals, that were signed in February 2013.

Responding to three separate parliamentary questions aired by Grech on 9 December 2014, Transport Minister Joe Mizzi said that the information that Grech desired will be provided in another parliamentary session.

Mizzi was speaking in the absence of Health Minister Konrad Mizzi, to whom the three questions were raised.

“Collective agreements don’t change from one day to the next,” Grech said. “I tabled my question six weeks ago. Is it possible that, in those six weeks, the government couldn’t find a copy of these collective agreements? Why isn’t Konrad Mizzi publishing the information?”

On his part, Joe Mizzi kept stating that the only information he had was that the information will be provided in another session.
