Energy sector in the spotlight on tonight's Reporter

Enemalta Corporation and the Delimara power plant will be the main topics of discussion on tonight’s edition of Reporter.

The programme will air immediately after the House of Representatives’ debate on the future of Malta’s energy policy and the Delimara LNG plant.

Host Saviour Balzan’s main guests will be Energy Minister Konrad Mizzi and shadow minister George Pullicino. A range of issues will be discussed, including the expected completion date of the new power station, who will be financing the cuts in energy tariffs, what stage the Malta-Sicily interconnector project has reached and what exactly is in the contract between Malta and China, seeing as the document has not been made public.

Reporter is presented by Saviour Balzan and produced by MediaToday. The programme’s new format includes lawyer Ramona Frendo as a resident opinionist.
