Reporter most watched discussion programme after Xarabank
Reporter second most watched programme on TV, Broadcasting Authority survey shows
A scientific survey carried out by the Broadcasting Authority shows that Reporter, the weekly discussion programme presented by MediaToday’s managing editor Saviour Balzan, is the second most watched programme on the national TV station, TVM.
The ratings published this week show that the most popular discussion programmes are Xarabank and Reporter followed by Reno Bugeja’s Dissett. Brian Hansford’s Realta and Times Talk.
Despite being aired every Monday at 9:55pm the survey results show that the late slot does not discourage people from watching Reporter.
In reaction to the ratings, Balzan expressed his satisfaction at the people’s appreciation of the MediaToday production team’s efforts.
“The programme requires lengthy preparations and I am delighted that the people are responding well and appreciating the programme,” Balzan said, adding that the programme will continue tackling subjects which the people are interested in.
Reporter is produced by Saviour Balzan and Frederick Attard.
