Egyptians throw stones at former minister’s trial

Families of Egyptians killed and injured in protests during the uprising in Egypt, threw stones at police vehicles outside the court where former interior minister Habib al-Adli was being tied.

As the protesters gathered infront of the court, the people chanted “the people want the execution of the killer … From Aswan to Alexandria, we will hold the Interior Ministry to account.”

News media report that military police were on the scene as protesters hurled stones at the police vehicles.

Al-Adli and six former senior officials are charged with killing pro-democracy prtoesters in the uprising which saw some 840 people dead.

Poor egyptians. They went from one dictator to military rule. Has much really changed in Egypt. I say not. Egypt will not change as the military is way too powerful. And it will remain so in the future.
