Bomb blast in Pakistan kills six

A bomb explosion outside a Sufi shrine in Pakistan left six dead today, two of them women.

Reports said two men riding a motorbike left a milk container near a shrine in Pakistan which later exploded in a huge fireball. A regional police chief said that once the rescue work was concluded, six people were discovered dead and 12 others were wounded.

Sufi worshippers, the shrine in which the attack took place, have lately been the target of attacks by Islamist militants in Pakistan.

The blast also blew up a wall and damaged several shops and stalls outside the shrine.
