Notte Bianca seeks out gastronomic nights with a difference
Eating is an integral part of the Notte Bianca experience attracting large audiences from all over the island. As part of this experience, the Malta Council for Culture and the Arts has invited food artists to come forward to show off their culinary skills in specifically designated catering areas that will be set up around Valletta.
Interested chefs and food artists may take the opportunity to set up their own gastronomic kitchen offering fresh food and mouth watering dishes, using intriguing ingredients and creative recipes.
Notte Bianca is held in Valletta each year and is a celebration of culture and the arts in Malta’s capital. Notte Bianca, now in its 6th year, brings together local and foreign artists offering a wide range of art and musical forms from classical to contemporary. Cultural venues, state palaces and museums open their doors almost all night, with many playing host to visual art exhibitions, dance and theatre performances.
Food stalls will be set up around Valletta on the night of Notte Bianca which will operate on Saturday 1 October from 17:00 to approximately 3:00.
Interested persons who would like to be part of the Notte Bianca gastronomy experience can put forward their expression of interest by not later than 26 August to [email protected] or by post or by hand to 230, Republic Street, Valletta. Further information may be obtained from the Malta Council for Culture and the Arts office between 9.00hrs and 13.00hrs.
Third party insurance will be the sole responsibility of the bidders.
The organisers reserve the right to refuse any bids.
