One of our favourite vegetables of the spring is asparagus. Not so long ago these were only possible to find in the imported section of the larger supermarkets and cost an arm and leg. From simply steamed and smothered with hollandaise to risottos, pasta sauces and tarts, these versatile veggies make your dish as pretty to look at as they are delicious to eat.
