Marsaxlokk and Sliema share the spoils

Sliema remain unbeaten in their last four games while Marsaxlokk took a point home after they lost their last two matches.

Marsaxlokk took the lead on the 16^th minute when a Martin Deanov freekick beat goalkeeper Henry Bonello.

Sliema managed to score the equaliser on the 54^th minute. Daniel Mitev’s shot from the right beat goalkeeper Reuben Gauci to put Sliema back in the match.

Sliema took the lead on the 75^th minute. Roderick Bajada’s freekick left no chance for the Marsaxlokk goalkeeper.

Sliema’s celebrations did not last long as their former player Obinna Obiefule scored the equaliser for  Marsaxlokk. After concluding a good run, Obiefule shot low to beat goalkeeper Henry Bonello.

In added time, Sliema’s Daniel Mitev was sent off after receiving his second yellow card.
