All square between Mosta and Hamrun

Ten minutes into the match, Mosta took a early lead when off a cross by Gilbert Martin, Kurt Magro managed to find Firas Aboulezz with his pass with the latter beating goalkeeper Omar Borg with his shot.

On the 27^th minute, Hamrun's Gaetan Spiteri had his attempt on goal saved by goalkeeper Jonathan Debono.

With one minute remaining in the first half, Mosta managed to double their lead thanks to a penalty. Gaetan Spiteri brought Predrag Mirceta down inside the area to have the referee point to the penalty spot. Obinna Obiefule made no mistake from the penalty spot to make it 2-0.

Hamrun had to wait till the 78^th minute before they managed to get back into the match. Anderson Mendes Ribeiro made no mistake with his shot to beat goalkeeper Jonathan Debono.

Hamrun managed to score the equaliser on the 87^th minute. Off a corner by Kevin Sammut, Massimo Grima beat the Mosta goalkeeper with his perfect header.

Finas Aboulezz was voted BOV Player of the Match.
