Hibernians defeat Qormi to lift the U*BET FA Trophy

Hibernians were clearly the better side as they piled on the pressure from the start of the match.

With numerous chances in front of the Qormi goal, Hibernians pressure finally paid off when they scored on the 36^th minute. Joseph Chetcuti brought Edison Luis dos Santos down inside the area to have the referee immediately point to the penalty spot. Clayton Failla made no mistake with his shot to beat goalkeeper Matthe Farrugia.

Hibernians doubled their lead on the 43^rd minute. Edward Herrera served Jackson Lima Siqueira with the latter beating goalkeeper Matthew Farrugia with his shot to make the score 2-0.

Just two minutes after the second half started, Jackson Lima Siqueira made the score 3-0 after his powerful shot left no chance for the Qormi goalkeeper.

In added time, Qormi managed to reduce the score after Joseph Farrugia beat goalkeeper Mario Muscat with his shot to make the final score 3-1.
