Inter defeat stubborn Lecce and move within two points of leaders Milan

Inter made sure they took advantage of Milan’s slip-up against Palermo. Inter defeated Lecce 1-0 to move within two points of the Serie A leaders Milan.

Giampaolo Pazzini made sure Inter secured all three points after he scored the only goal in the match on the 52^nd minute.

Inter had control of most of the match, but some quick reflexes from goalkeeper Julio Cesar denied Lecce from equalising in the final minutes of the match.

With this victory, the Milan derby on April 2 will give a indication of who will lift the Scudetto this season.

In other matches Juventus are back to winning ways after they defeated Brescia 2-1.

Milos Krasic gave Juventus the lead on the 24^th minute, but Brescia replied on the 42^nd minute with a goal from Eder.

Juventus captain Alessandro Del Piero scored the winner on the 68^th minute to ensure Juventus secured the three points.
