The man behind the Manchester City billions
Yesterday the Manchester City fans had their first glimpse of the great benefactor Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
He was not the person the fans were expecting. You would think a old man covered with robes would make a appearance. But this was not to be, the fans were treated to a young youthful figure in his late 20's who looked like a young boy about to play with his new toy.
The 29-year-old is one of 19 sons of the UAE's founding father Sheikh Zayed. He waved to the crowd before he settled down to watch his £355million team take apart the once all powerful Liverpool.
Coach Roberto Mancini has a lot to smile about as on top of all the money already splashed out, owner Sheikh still has £14billion in his own bank account to add to the £1billion he has already spend on Manchester City. He also has access to the family oil fortune estimated between £400b and £1trillion.
Manchester City showed signs of a fantastic football team, and last in the second game of the season, Mancini's men showed they will be title contenders.
What awaits now are the mouth-watering clashes against Chelsea and Manchester United.
