Euro 2020 - Wembley to host European Championships final
England has won the right to host the final and semi-finals of Euro 2020.
London's Wembley Stadium will stage the climax of the European Championship, the first time a major football tournament has been held in England since Euro 96.
UEFA's executive committee awarded the final to Wembley ahead of Munich's Allianz Arena at a meeting in Geneva.
The tournament is being held across Europe and England will host the three biggest matches. There was also a boost for Scotland on the day independence from the United Kingdom was rejected, with Glasgow selected to host three group matches and a last-16 match.
Irish capital Dublin was also warded the group-16 package.
Munich was the only other option being considered by UEFA for the semis and final. Bayern's stadium will instead host one of the four quarter-final matches.
The three other quarters will be played at Azerbaijan's Baku, Russia's St Petersburg and Italian capital Rome.
The six other venues listed for three group matches and a last-16 game were Copenhagen (Denmark), Bucharest (Romania), Amsterdam (Netherlands), Bilbao (Spain), Budapest (Hungary) and Brussels (Belgium).
Wales - who put forward Cardiff - missed out of hosting any matches.
