Maltese referees appointed for UEFA Mini-Tournaments

Over the next two weeks, three referees and three assistant referees will be involved in the European Under-17 Championship 2011 Qualifying Round matches as follows:

FIFA Referee Marco Borg and FIFA Assistant Referee William Debattista will officiate in the Group 6 mini-tournament to be played in Belarus from the 21st to the 26th of September 2010.

The teams taking part with hosts Belarus will be Kazakhstan, Liechtenstein and Romania.

Messrs Marco Borg and William Debattista will be involved in these three matches:

• On the 21st, Belarus–Liechtenstein at the Torpedo Stadium in Zhodino. (Mr Borg will be the fourth official).
• On the 23rd, Kazakhstan–Belarus at the Torpedo Stadium in Zhodino. (Mr Borg will be the referee).
• On the 26th, Belarus–Romania at the Traktor Stadium in Minsk. (Mr Borg will be the referee).

FIFA Referee Chris Lautier and FIFA Assistant Referee Alan Camilleri will officiate in the Group 8 mini-tournament to be held in Lithuania from the 22nd to the 27th of September 2010.

The teams taking part with hosts Lithuania will be Belgium, Denmark and Wales.

Messrs Chris Lautier and Alan Camilleri will be involved in these three matches:

• On the 22nd, Wales – Denmark at the Stadium of Marijampole FC in Marijampole. (Mr Lautier will be the referee).
• On the 24th, Lithuania–Wales at the S. Darius & S. Girenas Stadium in Kaunas. (Mr Lautier will be the fourth official).
• On the 27th, Wales–Belgium at the Stadium of Marijampole FC in Marijampole. (Mr Lautier will be the referee).

FIFA Referee Alan Mario Sant and Top Division Pool Assistant Referee Thomas Debono will officiate in the Group 4 mini-tournament to be played in Malta from the 25th to the 30th of September 2010.

The teams taking part with hosts Malta will be Albania, Norway and Republic of Ireland.

Messrs Alan Mario Sant (as Fourth Official) and Thomas Debono will be involved in these three matches:

• On the 25th, Norway–Albania at the Centenary Stadium, Ta’ Qali.
• On the 27th, Albania–Republic of Ireland at the Centenary Stadium, Ta’ Qali.
• On the 30th, Republic of Ireland–Norway at the Centenary Stadium, Ta’ Qali.
