Bayern leave it late to defeat Hoffenheim
Bayern Munich came back from a first-minute goal from TSG Hoffenheim to win 2-1 courtesy of a last-gasp effort from Daniel van Buyten.
Vedad Ibisevic had put the hosts in front and they held on for an hour before Thomas Muller levelled, with Van Buyten getting the winner in the 90th minute.
Elsewhere, Hannover continued their strong start to the new Bundesliga season with an impressive 4-1 win at home against struggling Werder Bremen.
Clemens Fritz's own goal in the 11th minute gave Hannover the lead before a Torsten Frings penalty after 36 minutes levelled things up. Didier Ya Konan restored Hannover's lead in the 53rd minute before Christian Schulz (79) and Mohammed Abdellaoue (90) added gloss to the scoreline.
Lewis Holtby scored twice to keep surprise package Mainz on top of the Bundesliga with a 2-0 home win over Cologne.
