Hernan Crespo helps Parma move away from relegation zone

Crespo put Parma ahead on the 24^th  minute from the penalty spot. Antonio Di Natale equalised for Udinese 12 minutes later.

It was not until the second half that Crespo put Parma ahead and gave them the match winner. The three points were very important for Parma as it moves them into 14^th  place.

Sampdoria bounced back after their disappointing European campaign with a 3-0 win over Bari.

Bologna defeated Cesena 2-0 to claim their first win on the road as Genoa came from behind to beat Lecce 3-1.

Adrian Mutu helped Fiorentina to a 1-0 victory over Cagliari.
