Inter president not happy with Ballon d’Or selection
Inter president Massimo Moratti has said that the Ballon d’Or final three that were shortlisted is unjust after Inter star Wesley Sneijder was left out.
When the original selection of players were picked for the Ballon d’Or earlier this year, Inter’s Milito was left out. This left a lot of people furious as Milito was the key to Inter’s treble success. Luckily Inter’s Wesley Sneijder was on the list as he had a fantastic season as well winning the treble with Inter and arriving to the final of the 2010 World Cup.
Sneijder was a clear favourite for this award with all the success he had, but he did not make it to the final three.
Speaking to the press, Moratti was not happy with the decision. "I think that it is very unjust that the award is given to someone who did not perform the whole year, even if we are speaking about a great player."
