Milan stamp their authority on Serie A
With Inter away at the FIFA Club World Cup, Milan continued on their march to the Scudetto.
Milan defeated Bologna 3-0 in the early afternoon match. Kevin-Prince Boateng opened up the score for Milan as Rubinho had no problem making it 2-0.
After having an excellent match, Milan star Ibrahimovic put the match out of reach with his own goal to make it 3-0. Juventus moved up to second place after leaving it late to defeat Lazio 2-1.
Giorgio Chiellini gave Juventus the early lead, but Mauro Zarate leveled matters for Lazio. The match looked like it was going to end with both teams sharing the points, but in the 90th minute Milos Krasic produced some magic when his cross-shot rebounded off the Lazio keeper Fernando Muslera to give Juventus all three points.
Juventus now move up to second place, six points behind leaders Milan. Lazio Napoli and Juventus are all sharing 30 points.
In other matches Roma edged out Bari with a 1-0 victory thanks to Juan.
New Brescia coach Mario Beretta celebrated his first match at the helm with a 1-0 win over Sampdoria.
Cagliari defeated Catania 3-0 thanks to a hat-trick from Nene.
Lecce claimed a important 3-2 victory over Chievo in a hard fought match that could have went either way.
Inter move down to seventh place in the standings with a game in hand as they are taking part in the FIFA Club World Cup.
