Quagliarella’s season is over

Juventus have a new crisis on their hands as star striker Fabio Quagliarella is out for the rest of the season with a major knee injury.

The striker had to be taken off the pitch after just three minutes into the match.

Quagliarella apparently severely twisted his knee and showed that he was in agony.

This morning the striker underwent an MRI at the Fornaca clinic in Turin and it emerged that he has torn the anterior crucuate ligament in his right knee.

Quagliarella is expected to be out of action between four and six months.

This is a huge blow for Juventus and their title challenge.

This leaves the door open for Genoa striker Luca Toni to sign with Juventus as talks are already at an advanced stage.
