Qormi and Sliema share the spoils
Qormi and Sliema played to a goalless draw. Both teams were desperate for all three points to try to move away from the danger zone.

The first half lacked scoring opportunities on both sides of the pitch.
Sliema had the only real opportunity on the 19th minute. A shot by Jean Pierre Mifsud Triganza, was saved by Qormi goalkeeper Matthew Camilleri.
The second half had more life as the action in front of goal increased.
Sliema’s Jean Pierre Mifsud Triganza’s shot just went wide after only three minutes into the second half.
Qormi immediately replied when Mathew Bartolo setup Josue Souza Santos who’s attempt on goal went high.
Qormi started to press from the goal, but some fantastic goalkeeping by Sliema’s Viktor Szentpeteri kept the ball out of the net. George Mallia’s header was saved by the Qormi custodian and another attempt by Abubakar Bello-Osagie was also neutralized by Szentpeteri.
Sliema had a great chance nine minutes before the end of the match. Miguel Ciantar’s powerful shot from outside the area went just over the bar.
Sliema almost won the match in added time when Obinna Obiefule’s shot missed the goal by a hairline.
