Valletta defeat Tarxien to extend advantage on top

Valletta immediately started on the attack when Kevin Sammut’s attempt was saved by the Tarxien goalkeeper.

On the 43^rd  minute, Valletta’s Denni Rocha Dos Santos was brought down inside the area by Luke Vella Critien. The referee immediately pointed to the penalty spot.  Terrance Scerri converted the penalty and put Valletta in front.

Valletta doubled the score on the 71^st  minute when Denni received a pass from Terence Scerri and made no mistake to find the back of the net.

Valletta are in fine form and are looking firm favorites to win the BOV Premier League title.
