Milan preparing for Pato exit

Milan’s star striker Alexandre Pato could be on his way out at the end of the season.

Cracks in the Milan squad are showing with teammate Ibrahimovic venting his frustration at Pato during last weekend’s match against Lecce that ended in a 1-1 draw.

With the Serie A leaders losing points and Inter gaining ground on them, the free flowing Milan side have suddenly started to stall.

Ibrahimovic is used to being the centre figure in attack, and when things don’t go his way other players seem to suffer.

With Pato looking more and more frustrated, it is reported Milan could be planning a major exchange for Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli.

Balotelli has always expressed his desire to play for Milan and his dream could possibly come true at the end of the season.

Balotelli is not 100% convinced if he will stay with Manchester City, and a move back to Italy could be definitely on the cards.

Chelsea coach Carlos Ancelotti could also put in an offer for his former striker. Chelsea is an ageing team, and in the summer transfer window they will surely be making some major purchases.

Before Pato signed for Milan, it was former Inter coach Roberto Mancini who first noticed the talented player, but it was today’s Inter coach Leonardo who persuaded him to sign for Milan when Carlos Ancelotti was coach.

Pato might have spoken too soon last week, when he declared that he would never play for Inter. With Leonardo making the successful switch, the smooth talking Inter coach could possibly shock everybody and convince Pato to stay in Milan… with Inter.
