Mourinho’s Real Madrid future still uncertain

Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho’s future is still in doubt.

Early this week reports from Spain confirmed that the former Inter coach and Real Madrid’s relations have deteriorated.

Today the Spanish press are speculating that this will be the only season that Mourinho will be in charge of the Spanish giants.

Jose Mourinho did deny these claims when asked by the Spanish publication AS.

"The world is full of all sorts of rumours and a few of them are true. But in regard to rumours about my resignation from Real Madrid, I can say that I will be here until the end of the season, and then we'll see. A lot depends on what will be and if all are happy in this co-operation," Mourinho concluded.

Mourinho wants more backing from the club directors.

His wishes for a new striker has not materialised yet.

The situation that Mourinho does not feel comfortable with is general director Jorge Valdano’s comments on how he manages the team.

Real Madrid let England coach Fabio Capello go right after winning them the Spanish Liga title.

If Mourinho does not manage to bring any silverware to Real Madrid this season, the most likely situation will be that he is relieved from his duties.
