United held by Marseille as Bayern sink Inter in final seconds

This is not the result Manchester United wanted as now they play the return match at Old Trafford in three weeks time with Marseille looking for the away goal.

Gomes picked up a rebound from a shot by Arjen Robben and made no mistake by finding the back of the net from close range in the final seconds of the match.

Inter still have a lot to play for on the return match in Germany, but Bayern Munich will surely try their best to keep Inter at bay.

Inter coach Leonardo was disappointed at the end of the match, not in the way Inter played but at the missed opportunities of getting on the score sheet.
