Nwoke double sinks Hamrun

A brace from Daniel Nwoke was enough for Floriana to take home all three points.

Floriana did not waste time to get on the scoreboard as the first goal arrived on the sixth minute.

Off a Christian Cassar freekick, Daniel Nwoke managed to score after winning possession of the ball.

Hamrun pressed for the equaliser as Rupert Mangion had a great opportunity on the 33^rd minute, but headed just wide.

Floriana almost double the score on the 39^th minute, when Dragomir Draganov’s header seemed to be going in, but Dragon Milovic cleared the ball off the goal line.

Seconds before the first half ended, referee Alan Mario Sant left the pitch due to an injury. Fourth official Kevin Azzorpardi took control of the match in the second half.

Floriana doubled the score on the 56^th minute when Hamrun’s Roderick Fenech lost the ball to Daniel Nwoke. Nwoke then advanced into the area to make no mistake by beating goalkeeper Omar Borg.
