Capirossi back from injury

The news was confirmed by the Pramac team. The Italian driver dislocated his shoulder in a qualifying crash at Assen. Capirossi went on to miss the Dutch TT and his home race at Mugello.

Capirossi has been put through intense training to get back on the bike, but Capriossi admits he is yet to fully recover.

“I feel better, but my physical condition is still not acceptable,” he explains. “I'm doing daily physical therapy sessions at the medical centre IM2S of Monaco.

“I have already missed two races, but Mugello the most important for me. I want to ride my bike (again) as soon as possible.”
