Marsascala back to winning ways as San Giljan leave it late

Marsascala came out with all guns blazing in the first session winning it by 7-3 but Ta’ Xbiex recovered slightly in the second edging it 2-1 to make it a three goal game midway through the encounter.

The third session was a see saw affair but Marsascala pulled away in the end winning it 5-3 to practically guarantee themselves victory. The final session was a rout for Marsascala who won 8-2 with Milos Koralji scoring no less than ten times to round off a comprehensive victory.

San Giljan got the better of Sirens with a last gasp goal 8 seconds from time scored by Filip Trajkovic.

The first session was a closely fought affair ending 1-1 but in the second Sirens managed to pull away winning 6-4 to register a two goal advantage at the interval.

The third session was a closer affair with San Giljan recovering well but Sirens still had a goal advantage for the final session. The final session was  anilbiting affair but a last gasp goal by Trajkovic gave an incredible victory to San Giljan.
