Vandals target Coast Road signs

Vandals have repeatedly targeted the traffic management signs along Coast Road, Transport Malta has reported.

The signs were erected on the sites were reconstructions works are currently ongoing.

“This vandalism is being carried out by third parties unknown to Transport Malta and its contractors,” the Transport Authority said in a statement.

It urged people witnessing such events to report immediately to the police.

“Damaging traffic management equipment as implemented on site may ultimately impact the health and safety of the road users and contractors’ personnel,” TM warned.
