Police officer Paul Sheehan, involved in last week's incident that saw the car of an unarmed man shot at, was taken to hospital yesterday after suffering chest pains. Witnesses say Sheehan and his brother flew into a rage when a magistrate arrived at their mother's house to begin an inquiry.

In a speech in parliament yesterday, Opposition Simon Busuttil said that the Prime Minister had lost his moral authority in the wake of Wednesday's incident. He also said that the Budget was both the longest, at four hours, and the most forgettable.

In his reaction to Busuttil's speech in parliament, PM Joseph Muscat described the Opposition's attitude as negative and Busuttil as failing to find even one good point about the budget.
